Cherie Brown - Sunset Mornington

There is a particular quality of light that falls over Mornington at dusk — soft, golden, and tinged with the blush of a fading sky. Sunset Mornington captures that fleeting moment when day surrenders to evening, rendered in Cherie Brown's signature layered technique of acrylic and moulding paste on canvas.

Warm pinks drift across a dreamy expanse of white and pale gold, punctuated by dusky grey-green passages and a whisper of blue — the last breath of sky before the horizon dissolves. The moulding paste adds a tactile, sculptural surface that catches the light beautifully, making this work as compelling up close as it is across a room.

A statement piece that brings warmth, calm, and a sense of place to any interior.
